Treasured wisdom comes from years of experience. It consists of the many mistakes made in life, the numerous positive and happy moments shared with friends and family, by what we should or should not have said to or about others, or crying later, about ‘if only’ we had visited that one ill friend before he or she died. With a prayer to ask for forgiveness, saying what we will do ‘next time,’ we will use our new wisdom to do experience life in a better way.

THE REQUEST
In my dream last night, a little boy asked me to help him bury his kite. I asked him why. He said he had prayed to God for a string to fly the kite, but he did not get one. I told the child that sometimes, God makes you look for it, rather than just handing it to you. You learn experiences along the way, ones you will always remember. Soon, we were flying the kite, using a beautiful green ribbon. Laughing, we looked up in the sky, making cherished memories.
