Stars sparkle, a smile gleams. Bubbles have a kind of glitter, flickering a glow of colors, disappearing before the eye. Not ever vanishing is God’s glance over His children, no matter the time of day or night. He will continue to be the source of light, never wavering. He will always hold that twinkle in His eye.

No Ethnicity
People are often judged, because they are of color, whether it be black, brown, yellow, red or white. Yet, the soul has no ethnicity, only carrying the essence of God.

THE LAST BREATH
Holding the hands of a loved one, seen is the last breath taken, before the human form becomes still. In that last breath, God is drawn in, gently taking hold of the enriched soul, to join Him forever. The next chapter of life has begun.

DRUMS, PEACE AND HEAVEN
DRUMS, PEACE AND HEAVEN
To quiet the spirit and soul,
visualize a waterfall of grandeur.
Feel the powerful, misty spray,
flowers close by,
always ready for another crispy, cold drink.
Imagine its sound,
picturing all the drums in heaven
playing an energetic and splendid symphony,
the waters splashing into a rainbow of pools below,
the ground shaking in perfect beat.
Be placed
in the center of this sensation,
the plentiful strands
of the cherished liquid,
acting in the role
of a precious shield,
feeling God's love and peace.

A JOURNEY IN THE DESERT
A Journey In The Desert
Emptiness,
feeling as
a vast desert,
nothing behind me
and
nothing in front of me.
Walking to nowhere,
a tiny, succulent, plant
appears at my feet.
Bending down,
I touch the soft leaves.
Responding to my presence,
Dabs of moisture rise forth,
the leaves spreading out,
becoming a beautiful sight.
God is expressing
how the
baptismal waters of life
will be renewed,
no matter where I am.
There is exhilaration,
the spirit and soul
being refresheshed.
In front of me,
the emptiness
has been filled
with a hunger
for the beginning
of a
new journey.

THE DESERT IN OUR JOURNEY
We tend to live in a desert during different stages in life, having a sense of emptiness. Looking down during this part of the journey, a tiny, succulent plant appears. When touched, a dab of dew appears. God is letting the baptismal waters be renewed. There is exhilaration, as the spirit and soul are eternally refreshed.

TIMID
Being timid to take a chance leaves the spirit incomplete. God will be there, as one ventures forth!

THE CHART
Laughter needs to be on the chart of the periodic elements. Without it, we cannot survive. The Spirit of God does have a sense of humor. Smile on the memories when God provided that smile!

ENTICING
Sometimes, a gift arrives at the most unexpected time. It is in a size too big to wrap, as wisdom can never be packaged. A smile on our lips, we accept the present, thanking God once again, for answering a prayer in the way He sees befitting and worthwhile.

MISERABLE AND ALONE
There are times when it is felt no one else in the world can be going through a miserable experience like ours. After a tear or two has been shed, it is a time to recollect, to feel Christ's presence, remembering His sacrifice. The misery will pass, and we shall rise again, feeling His eternal light.

SAFE SURROUNDINGS
Leaving safe surroundings is a message from God. He wants us to see, hear and feel His Words, through the emotions of voices, writings and hands of others. Gifting each individual in His own blessed way, it is up to us to go out and feel His Spirit through these given talents.

A COLD, CRISPY WARMTH
Sitting outside, enveloped in the crispy, cold air, only breathing in God’s natural surroundings, leaves me with a chill of excitement and passion. My spirit is on fire, my soul refreshed, my faith renewed.
