The Untouched Door

I have lost strength through the years, the wind grabbing hold of what used to be.  Yet, the door to my soul remains untouched, all of the memories staying close to my heart.

FALLING AGAIN

FALLING AGAIN
Each time we fall, the new experience enters through the door of our souls, giving us new wisdom to face what God has planned for us.

GETTING STUCK

GETTING STUCK
To think only of the injustices of yesterday makes a soul become still, hardening like a stone. Releasing the mind of times past allows God’s daily blessings to shine forth, keeping the emotions flowing with love and gratitude.

A DARK REJUVENATION

A DARK REJUVENATION

The dark, being very quiet, peaceful and still, rejuvenates the soul.

THE FLOOD

THE FLOOD

Our day can have a discouraging moment or two. It is during those times that the mind, spirit, heart and soul are flooded with God’s love, empathy, gentleness and grace.

REACH FOR THE SKY

Obstacles are there to be conquered. Seen are new pathways, doors waiting to open. A journey begins, one where wisdom, courage, understanding, enlightenment, patience and passion for life soak into the soul. The spirit is strong, fearless, eager to encounter the world.

SURROUNDING THE SOUL

All are born with a gentle soul. Surrounding it, from choices made, is what creates our spirit.

As God looks upon you, what He sees is His loving, kind Spirit living within your soul.

THE TWO OF US

What a close friend our shadow is. It is nearby as we look out to the beyond and becomes our constant companion as we move in motion. In prayer, its hands raise to the heavens with ours the surrounding silence leaving peace and serenity upon the soul. The togetherness between the two of us strengthens our spirits, giving us dauntless courage to meet the unexpected in each day.

OUR FINAL RIDE

Our last ride in life will be an exquisite one. The angels will come, finding where we are by the bright glow surrounding us. It is our souls they see adrift, made up of a myriad of transparent colors, waves of purple, green, yellow, pink and white. With their immense and majestic heavenly wings, they will swoop down to pick us up and carry us, leaving a trail of light as they quickly disappear into the sky. Those we have left behind need only smile, as the journey to our glorious home has been filled with an unexplainable love, peace, and joy.

SITTING AT MY TABLE

Only yesterday, I shared food with a table with complete strangers. It was the typical pizza, each of us laughing and visiting between bites of gooey cheese and bits of pepperoni. It was very relaxing, no one caring about the background of anyone at the table. God's goodness was felt, a time to count our blessings. All of our eyes sparkled, just as the eyes of the one smiling innocent child at our table, who had yet traveled many paths on the journeys of life. What a lovely hour of of simpleness, a fine way to nurture the soul.

OH, WHAT A JOYFUL PLACE!

We see God’s passion for life in every sunrise and sunset. It is there in the beauty of a bird’s flight, the scent of a rose, the waves of an ocean and in the great heights of every awe-inspiring mountain. We, too, are part of His formula, being gifted with our own passions as soon as we had a soul. Using our passions with all our hearts, souls and minds will make our world a joyful place!

NEVER GETTING FILLED

The soul gains wisdom, knowledge, love and strength each microsecond of the day. How magnificent it is, that no matter how much this embodiment absorbs, it never gets filled. Through eternity, the soul will hold our history, transcending down to the generations left behind. They will pick up this wisdom and love as they carry on a ritual used from the past, teach values they learned and live they faith as they were taught. New wisdom is gained, ready to be shared, never to be forgotten, in the generations to come.

THE HAND SELECTED SOUL

As the time comes for a mother and father, to begin a family of their own, God chooses a tiny soul to join them . Through prayer, guidance and love, and the parents working as a unit, the spirit will nurture within the soul, bringing forth a character with natural gifts, to be shared with many. God’s creation is ready to meet the world, with the soul, the very foundation of his well-being, remaining intact, until God reaches for it, ready for this momentous piece of life to now join Him in His Kingdom.

AN EXCUSE

An excuse is a short reprieve. Striving for the best, feeling God’s Spirit deep within, adds everlasting strength to the soul.

WHAT DOES NOT CHANGE

Actions by others can affect one emotionally, mentally, spiritually, intellectually, or physically. Remaining untouched is the soul, hidden well within each human frailty. Only its owner and God have access to it. This cannot change. It is the heart of whom we are, no matter what happens to any other aspect of self.
