COMPASSION

Having compassion for those bringing us heartache is a tall order. Our Lord teaches us we must. It does not mean we include them in all that we do, but to say a silent prayer for those causing pain. Pray that an understanding of wronged actions will help in letting go of the anguish. Recall, in prayer, how God gave each of us a soul. Some souls are troubled. We ask for God’s guidance to bring some tenderness to their embattled spirits. Only then will the healing begin.

A CHANCE

Chances in life can mean different things. Perhaps it is a second chance at an opportunity. In the occasion of an incident, there is the chance of looking at life in a new way. Our Lord offered a chance to those who did wrong. Take a deep breath and exhale. Tell God you will forgive. Live in His image, giving a chance to let another have a fresh start on the goodness in life.

WATER

Water is the source of life. We see it in Baptism. We feel it as we are blessed with Holy Water. We see it in the unexpected springs, a beautiful source of life. The tiniest of waters can refresh someone. It is as if a freshly fallen rain has fallen upon one, so very filled with the life from God! Water can form rainbows, always an expression of awe. Whether it be in the form of snow or rain, from a fountain or a waterfall, it is a time to acknowledge God, thanking Him for one of His many wondrous deeds.

IMPATIENCE

Given an unpleasant situation, impatience is likely to erupt, increasing stress. Saying a prayer to God, to have the patience to get through the bitterness and gracefully work through the problem, will nurture the mind, body and soul. Composure remains intact, resulting in tranquility. While others struggle, prayers have sent a placid state of mind.

A GRASP

Grasping for the unknown will not satisfy a need. Grasping for help from God offers hope. Tumbling down cannot happen now, as God will hold the hand of His child, never letting go.

CLUTTER

Clutter can affect the mind, body and soul. There is the feeling of confusion and helplessness. How to begin to defuse the mess may lead one into more despair. To realize that God and the Holy Spirit will provide strength, with Jesus walking in one’s footsteps, helping to dissolve mass of complexities, will ease the stress. The sun will shine through, providing the light needed to start a new path on life.
