PRAYING FOR A STRANGER

Recently, a stranger paused in the patient waiting-area of a medical office, asking if she could speak to me. She had a tiny concern, and had to express her emotions to someone. After she did, I pulled out my prayer journal and asked for her name, saying I would call upon God to give her His blessings. Pleased, she was also startled a stranger would pray for her, gladly spelling her name. Smiling, she walked away. A small, unseen token can bring great comfort.
